Voraussetzungen:
Familiarity with basic programming concepts and, ideally, with at least another
programming language.
Inhalt:
The course introduces the student to the C and C++ programming languages. Its
objective is to give an overview of the two languages and to explain by means of
examples the main syntactical constructs of each. Additionally, the course will
illustrate the basic principles of modular programming (using C) and
object-based and object-oriented programming (using C++).
The lectures will be held in English but students can submit any homework that
is required during the course in German.
