Work Group Multimedia Signal Processing

The Multimedia Signal Processing group of the University of Konstanz is offering a research position in the field of digital video quality measurement. The position can be filled immediately, and offers an extension towards a PhD degree.

Knowledge and experience in image processing and/or video coding as well as programming (C, C++) are necessary requirements. Please contact Dr. Shujun Li for further details about this position. A second position in this research project is available at our industrial partner.

We are looking for a student assistant for a long-term appointment with a minimum of 20 hours per month. The tasks comprise to support us with the technical infrastructure in our institute (network, computers, homepage etc.) Therefore, applicants should be familiar with computer systems, in particular Linux.

We are looking for a student assistant to work with our group in the research project "PowerBike" for at least 30 hours per month. Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Good knowledge of the C++ programming language is a must
• Knowledge of GUI-programming with Qt is advantageous
• Basic mathematical understanding is required
• Interest in practical problems from sports science and particularly cycling is helpful
