- Applicants hold a recent PhD degree in computer science or a comparable field.

For international applicants whose native language is not English, and/or who are not holder of a university degree in an English-speaking country
- TOEFL score of at least 525 (paper-based test) or 197 (computer-based test) and/or
- a Cambridge Certigicate of Proficiency with a grade of C or above
- The successful candidate will conduct independent research in collaboration with one or more work groups of the program and function as an active role model for all of our PhD students.
Description
One (1) PostDoc position available immediately.The PhD Program Computer and Information Science is a DFG-funded project that focuses on the analysis and visualization of large information spaces. The main research areas in the PhD Program Computer and Information Science at the University of Konstanz are:
- Information Visualization
- Computer Graphics
- Human Computer Interaction
- Intelligent Data Analysis
- Information Retrieval
- Database and Information Systems
- Multimedia Signal Processing
- Software Analysis and Verification
- Network Analysis and Visualization
